You may be familiar with Aliza Kelly as the resident astrologer for Allure Magazine where she educates and fills us in on topics like How to Interpret the Position of Venus in Your Birth Chart to A Beginner’s Guide to Numerology to How to Tap Into Your Physic Abilities alongside monthly readings of the zodiac.
Her ongoing column, Allure Astrology, is dedicated to all things magick and is an invaluable resource for beginners and seasoned occult enthusiasts alike who are seeking guidance and insight on how the sun, moon, and stars are playing out in their lives.
You may also have read her work at places like Apartment Therapy for how to choose a home scent based on your sign or helping us understand what to expect during a full moon eclipse over at girlboss.
Now Aliza Kelly is serving as guide for the perfect astrological libation in her gorgeous new book, The Mixology of Astrology: Cosmic Cocktail Recipes for Every Sign.
The book includes a brief introduction to astrological sun signs, the elements, sign qualities, and mixology (i.e. the tools, drinkware, bar measurements, garnishes, select vocabulary) as well as a short breakdown of each individual sign and how she came to select the chosen cocktails for each.

So, whether you are just looking to explore astrology more, you are new to mixology, or you are a veteran star-gazer who knows your way around a shaker and has muddler or two among your spirited potions, this hardback book is a beautiful (the cover art is STUNNING!) addition to your library or would make a marvelous gift for a cosmically-inclined friend.
Experience your next cocktail party by mixing drinks written in the stars!
Each sign has sixteen different drink recipes. Here are a couple of my favorites.
