STEPHANIE VALENTE
We add magic and enchantments to so many elements of our lives. From protection and self-empowerment to good fortune and vibes.
So it's no surprise that we'd want to enchant the working area of our lives (hello, job spells). But what about your actual work space or work practice? With many of us working remotely for the foreseeable future, it's time to level up your work from home situation with some magic. With spells, intentions, small actions, and items, any space can be magical and supportive.
Below, are some tips to get you started.
1. Purify the space with a cleansing candle or spray.
2. Set an intention before working each day.
3. Draw a tarot card before starting a big project.
4. Put a charged crystal in your work space to support intentions.
5. Anoint important work items or spaces with sacred oil.
6. Perform a gratitude spell to your guides, a specific energy, or the universe for work support.
7. Meditate with amulets for guided support on work, colleagues, or projects.
8. Take a few moments to send positivity and support to your coworkers.
9. Bless your favorite WFH clothing items (fancy lounge sets! stain slippers!).
10. Charge a perfume under the moon for boosted clarity.
11. Set a timer for a two-minute break: check in with a guardian angel, a guide, or a spiritual god.
12. Enchant your laptop for steady work, positive client meetings, tech woe protection, financial abundance.
13. Add power colors to your workspace: vibrant jewel tones mixed with neutrals, and onyx for protection.
14. Consider adding a work or abundance-related sigil to a prominent area of your work space.
15. Create power playlists: for successful projects, for support in finishing tasks, for abundance, for the highest good in your cohort.
16. Develop a personal work wind down ritual to separate your working time from personal time - this is especially sacred for folks in cozy spaces.
17. Burn a charged candle with intention while working on an important project or task.
18. End your work time or space with a closing intention of thanks and reflection - a simple intention or three bullet point journal entry on thanks or learnings.
